Spirits - Customer Marketing Manager
CALLING ALL CUSTOMER MARKETING MANAGERS!
Are you passionate about progressing your career in the UK drinks industry? Our client is a leading spirits distributor, with a portfolio of well-respected brands who have a strong presence in the UK market.
Due to recent expansion, our client has set up a Customer Marketing team and are seeking a strong Customer Marketing Manager to develop and deliver the commercial strategies across each channel, looking the company's strong portfolio of spirit brands.
They are looking for someone with a passion for sales and marketing with a strong analytical and commercial background, whether it be from sales, customer marketing or category experience.
Reporting to the Customer Marketing Controller, you will be responsible for developing and activating effective shopper marketing campaigns for an impressive portfolio of branded products with your key retailers, ensuring all activity is ROI evaluated. You will work across national, independent, on-trade, wholesale and retail, maximising volume, net sales and gross profit for the business and customers. You will liaise closely with Marketing & Sales on Category, identifying and targeting gaps in the market, as well as ensuring all NPD are launched effectively across all channels.
The successful candidate will be commercially and analytically minded, with a strong FMCG background in sales, category or customer/trade/shopper marketing. You will be degree educated, and either at Executive level looking for a step-up, or a well experienced Manager looking for a new challenge. You will be experienced in analysing and presenting data recommendations from a client facing background, managing engaging NPD from initial concept to execution, as well as budget management experience. You will also have a track record of developing and activating successful campaigns to maximise sales across the business!
