Territory Manager – Food to Foodservice

REWARDS: 30K Basic Salary, 38K OTE (Uncapped), Fully Expensed Car, Laptop/Smart phone

LOCATION: Canterbury, Hastings, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Brighton, Croydon, Eastbourne, Crawley

An opportunity with a growing independent Foodservice market leader.

THE ROLE: 
  • The successful candidate will work within their territory area, winning new business as well as retaining and growing existing business.
  • This will be achieved through maintaining relationships as well as generating leads through customer enquiries and research.
  • The candidate will be selling directly to end users; predominantly at Head chef level but will also deal with catering managers within more cost sector establishments.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to develop a high level of knowledge about the products and services offered in order to work effectively and provide strong food solutions to their account base.
  • The account base will cover all areas of the foodservice market including cost and profit sector accounts.

THE APPLICANT: 
  • We are seeking to grow our sales team through the recruitment of ambitious and driven sales professionals with a target driven and a dynamic approach to business development.
  • Candidates must have field sales experience in selling food products into the foodservice sector.
  • Candidates with experience working for a wholesaler and selling a wide variety of products are of particular interest.
  • Candidates with a successful Field Sales background in either working for foodservice manufacturers or experience within specific food categories will also be welcomed.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong relationship building skills combined with a flair for new business.
