Do you have experience working in international markets and looking for a new challenge?

The Company:

A privately owned manufacturer of a wide range of products for the home and garden. My client has grown significantly through on-going investment in product development and UK manufacturing facilities. The company operates across multiple channels including grocery, department stores, DIY sheds, discounters and independent retail. In addition to being a market leader in the UK, my client also has a strong presence internationally across a number of recognised brands and own label products and are currently exporting across the world from Europe to the Far East. Due to ongoing growth in export they are now looking for an additional International Sales Manager to join their team.

The Role:

You will be responsible for managing a range of accounts across various channels and routes to market including Direct to Retail (department stores, grocers, DIY stores and discount retailers) employment of agents and distributor management, although the exact territories will be dependent on your experience. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will have a high level of autonomy and will be a very visible member of the team. As the business continues to grow this will result in excellent career prospects.

The Candidate:

Ideally you will have a background within consumer products such as housewares, kitchen products, garden or DIY. You could be just young in your career in International Sales looking to step up your career, or an established International Sales Manager looking for a new challenge. Either way, you must be an excellent communicator, capable of working in a fast paced and growing business. You need to be confident dealing with several retail categories and a large number of products. Any additional languages would be hugely beneficial but not essential.
