About our Client: 

A real British heritage Toys and Games business, that has expanded rapidly over the last 5 years. Through constant NPD and newly agreed licenced ranges their growth is up by 32% compared to this time last year. This has called for the development of deeper relationships within their Grocery and High Street accounts, requiring a new National Account Manager who can come in, really grow them and take complete control of the business' top 2 accounts.

Culturally this business does not shy away from hard work. There is a true feeling of support from your peers and you will have a direct route to the Sales Director where they can help and guide you through the initial probation period where there will be weekly 1 to 1 meetings. The business is still privately owned and offers a real sense of camaraderie between peers with a real "stay" culture. 

 

About the Role: 

We're looking for a National Account Manager to work across two of their largest accounts, developing these relationships and growing them to their maximum potential. This is highly customer facing and requires you to work with real autonomy and conduct your own meetings with Head Office Buyers and be the real face of the company. 

You'll be involved with all of the following:

  • True P&L ownership of the account base.
  • Constant Head Office Buyer engagement and meetings.
  • Exploit whitespace opportunities within each account.
  • Be responsible for the creation and strategic development of the Joint Business Plans.
  • Develop strategy for Retailer integration into Marketing Plans.
  • To monitor stock availability and take initiatives to address any issues.
  • Responsibility for ensuring brand creative executions are implemented correctly across existing and new Retailer channels.

 

About You: 

We need a calm and collected National Account Manager looking to move away from a Blue Chip type business and who wants to make a real impact in a growing business with passionate people who truly believe in their products.

  • Experience of both the independent and convenience market.
  • Ability to work as part of the team.
  • Strong organisational skills and diary planning.
  • Knowledge of P&L.

  • The desire to progress through the ranks in the business and add real value to the company.
