About our Client:
Our client is on the move, they have experienced some huge growth over the past 3 years more than doubling in size year-on-year. With a recent merger/acquisition to promote further growth in excess of £100m t/o this is an exciting time to join the team. Our client serves a variety of markets, including retail multiples, wholesalers and cash and carries, as well as independent stores with ambient food products.
About the Role:
Within this role you will be the most experienced marketing person within the group. You will head up the newly created Marketing team to produce and implement a strategy to promote a variety of in-house and external brands. You will be the go to resource within the group and although you will not sit on the main board, you will be a member of the senior management team. This is essentially a blank sheet of paper for you to come in and use your knowledge and skills to make your own. Commerciality will be important, you will be able to show your proven experience in delivering commercial results for a brand/category.
The ideal candidate will have an impressive track record in the marketing of food/FMCG products. Experience in international brands would be preferable. Commercial results and the ability to build and deliver a strategy will be part of your career history. Ideally you will have demonstrable leadership experience.
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you must have a proven track record of leading and delivering a commercially focused marketing strategy within Food/FMCG.
