They also have a strong presence in the independent sector, which in particular has seen impressive growth in the last few years. The Role:

You will have full P&L of the B&Q account. Your sole focus will be to manage the B&Q account and focus on growing sales and the relationship. You will have support of marketing, finance and supply teams in order to ensure the on-going success of accounts. The role is home based however for the first couple of months you may be required to be in the office 3 days a week in the South East.  

The Candidate:

You MUST have previous experience of managing the DIY account and having full P&L responsibility. You must be comfortable working under pressure within a fast paced business where decisions often have to be made quickly. Whilst you will be offered full support from the senior team, you should be able to work autonomously and have a good level of commercial acumen. You will already be at National Account Manager Level looking to join a global business. Experience of the unification tender process would be an advantage.
