Van Sales Person C1 Licence-National food distributor!

Buckinghamshire 

£19,000-£25,000 D.O.E + OTE £30,000-£32,000  

I am looking for a confident and professional individual who can represent my client, building sales on existing business, increasing sales volumes within their territory, and deliver a reliable customer service to the highest standard. 

The role also requires handling and rotating of stock, cash handling, waste management, weekly target adherence and basic account management.

You must have a Category C1 Licence OR drivers CPC and previous sales experience would be an advantage.

The role:

• Pre-Route Planning
• Delivering ambient/chilled products to customers on a defined route each day
• Develop relationships with independent food retailers
• Build new relationships with potential customers
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers to maximise sales
• Early morning start times to needs of customers
• Managing your stock effectively to ensure that you maximise your customers’ sales.
• Making customers calls each day depending on your route.
• Promote new product lines and promotions
• Undertake vehicle checks, identifying any defects
• Undertake temperature checks of fridge & freezer
• Undertake stock checks, highlighting any discrepancies

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Must have a full clean driving licence to include a Category C1 entitlement, and is advantageous if applicants hold or have undergone any training modules regarding the drivers CPC
• Van Sales experience is a desirable quality, although candidates with equivalent sales experience in another field will be considered

As a Van Sales Person, you will work up to a 10-hour day, 5 days per week. Your days off will vary, which will be discussed in more detail at interview.
