<p><strong>Head of Sales / Sales Director, design led brand</strong></p> <p><strong>Up to £80,000</strong></p> <p><strong>London</strong></p> <p>A well-known, design-led homewares brand seeks a Head of Sales to lead their team. You will be from the homewares or gift industry, will be a natural, positive leader and will come with a wealth of established senior-level buying contacts within this sector.</p> <p>You will be responsible for all wholesale channels (non US) including domestic, international and key accounts. You will work closely with the sales team to build skills and knowledge; enabling them to increase revenue through winning new accounts and maximising existing relationships.</p> <p>You will be analytical and strategic, be great at leading teams and have an impressive</p> <p>You will also have joint responsibility with Head of eCommerce for achieving web based sales for the wholesale operation and will work closely with the Directors as part of the senior management team to develop and execute the growth strategy of the global business.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities required for this Head of Sales role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute sales plans for existing and new customers, defining and growing each customer segment, including specific KPIs and reports to measure and build on performance</li> <li>Ensure the entire customer experience from initial enquiry to receipt of goods is customer focussed, efficient and effective so as to maximise sales and service</li> <li>Engage, develop and train the sales team, providing leadership to ensure a sales focus and culture is embedded in the organisation</li> <li>Review the different sales channels open to the company and develop a long term plan for the sales team deployment, including assessing the use of field sales</li> <li>Take a leading role in the development of Key Accounts to grow the business with multiples including bespoke and FOB products, defining target accounts, financial criteria and the business USP to attract new clients</li> <li>Increase the company’s profile in the trade and wider consumer market</li> <li>Be a champion of the company reporting system and develop sales reporting formats for the senior management team and own team development</li> <li>Working with Head of eCommerce, develop a detailed plan to achieve sales targets and support customer growth</li> <li>With Product Development Manager, project manage the launch of new product to the marketplace</li> <li>Work with directors to articulate the drive forward to a global business; developing and implementing strategies in area of responsibility to achieve company growth, profit and brand objectives</li> </ul> <p><strong>The ideal candidate for this Head of Sales position will have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 5 years of relevant experience in a consumer product sales environment, preferably in the Gift or Home markets</li> <li>At least 2 years’ experience of managing a sales team (Senior NAMs with team leading experience hungry for that next step up will also be considered)</li> <li>Evidence of meeting/exceeding sales targets, along with growing sales revenue/net profit</li> <li>The ability to work collaboratively with different functions and skillsets, at all levels</li> <li>Clear communication with the ability to present information succinctly and charismatically, verbally and written</li> <li>Excellent analytical skills and numeracy</li> <li>Proven commercial acumen focussed on sales performance and financial objectives and motivated by sales success with an eye for opportunities</li> <li>High levels of ambition with the need to make a difference!</li> </ul> <p>For a chat about this Head of Sales role please get in touch.&nbsp;</p>
