Then you’re in luck. Our team is expanding and we’re looking for another Ideation Manager to join our Innovation team.
What you’ll be doing
Sitting within our Ideation team, you’ll report in to our Ideation Leader. This is a Group role, so you will need to work with people across the business, both in the UK and in our regional teams in Europe, to make the concept a reality – usually as part of a project team.
You will be directly responsible for creating winning drinks concepts and shaping their development to launch. As the ‘go to’ person for the concept, you will champion the idea within the business & project team, winning hearts & minds to gain support for your ideas, making sure they remain what our drinkers want and not just what we can deliver. In partnership with our Insights team, you’ll be finding out what we need to know and recommending a research approach.
From the initial idea through to sign off, you will work with our products and creative teams to bring the product and packaging to life. You will also work with our strategy, finance and commercial teams to create the supporting analysis to help the business with decision making.
And all the while you’ll be keeping on top of trends in food and drink, bringing in the best from outside and knowing where we should be looking for the next big thing. One of your key roles will be inspiring the wider company and keeping them up to date with what’s going on in the world of health and wellness.
What we’re looking for
As you’ll be creating ideas from scratch, as well as working out the best way to launch them, you will need to be comfortable thinking both creatively and commercially. You’ll also be managing projects with lots of ambiguity, so we need someone who demonstrates natural curiosity and has the ability to drive projects forward using initiative and internal contacts. We're looking for someone with great communication skills who can lead an initiative from an early stage and communicate their plans to the business, whilst displaying the attention to detail, prioritisation and problem solving skills needed to spot and deal with issues as they occur. You’ll need to be talented at juggling lots of different tasks but continuously focussed on our drinkers as well as being great at working with people from lots of different areas of the business.
Ideally, we're looking for someone who's experienced in the world of food & drink. Though if you’re a passionate foodie with experience within an FMCG business we would still like to talk. The role would best suit someone with experience in marketing, innovation or insights, who has experience of managing product launches from start to finish.
