National Account Manager – Chilled Foods

Location: Home Based

The Role:

A superb National Account Manager’s opportunity has become available with an industry leading producer of quality chilled foods.

This key strategic sales position will involve managing and developing 2 leading accounts within the grocery channel.

You will be fully responsible for building on the strong relationships with your clients through daily contact, developing and implementing JBP’s, working closely with your clients on NPD, introducing new lines, forecasting, P&L and increasing the sales and profitability within the accounts.

Successful applicants will need to have recent experience in selling chilled products into the grocery channel.

Our client is an award winning supplier of own label chilled foods who have developed a strong reputation for developing quality products. They are now looking to recruit a successful National Account Manager to join their sales team.

Essential Requirements:

  • Recent experience in a National Accounts role selling chilled products into a the grocery channel.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth.
  • Strategic business development skills.
  • Superb account management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiator.
  • Ability to influence.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Highly personable and positive.

 

Package:

Basic Salary:  £45,000-£50,000
