Our client is household name in food manufacturing. They supply high quality chilled food products into the UK’s major retailers.

The business has an excellent reputation in the industry and is going through a period of growth.

They are looking to add some talent to their Commercial team.

The Role

Junior Category Manager

Sitting in the Commercial team this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in Category Management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare category and market reports
• Develop and communicate category insights to challenge account performance
• Build effective customer relationships which promote the business as leaders in the category
• Manage data quality
• Complete regular audits of the market
• Review NPD launches

The position offers career progression into a more Senior Cat Man position.

The Candidate

• Experience in marketing focussed/data/insight position
• Strong communication skills

• High competency with Excel and PowerPoint

• Ability work cross functionally and part of a team

The position is office based in Staffordshire.
