A high growth SME Food business specialising in vegetarian and vegan food to go are looking for their next superstar to continue their incredible growth! Since these guys started trading two years ago, they've quadrupled in size gaining listing in all the top 6 retailers and this growth looks like continuing for a long while yet! 

They are in conversation with other retailers regarding nationwide distribution, which will see them hit their 5 year target to reach £50m in turnover, ambitious, but definitely within reach! There aren't many businesses in the market that can show this kind of ambition and growth to back it. 

With a business as young as this, NPD is at the forefront of their psyche. With a revolutionary product range across multiple categories and with new product lines launching at the end of this year, there is just no stopping them. 

With some key hires already made from Blue Chip businesses into their Sales and Marketing teams, the business is full of enthusiasm and energy - they work hard but know when to enjoy themselves. They demonstrate a really inclusive culture and some great perks including company holidays. 


About the Role: 

We're looking for a Commercial Manager to work across two of their largest accounts. You'll be the person getting them to this £50million mark and beyond. This is highly customer facing and requires you to work with real autonomy. 

Some key duties will be:

  • Full P&L responsibility.
  • Exposure to Head Office Buyers to conduct promotional plans and conduct JBP's.
  • Create and develop JBP's that benefit the company and the customer.
  • Work with marketing to devise impactful activation campaigns.
  • A real passion for Food you don't have to be a veggie!
  • Coordinate Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and commercial activities to deliver total customer satisfaction.
  • Constant NPD require new listings and lots of product testing!

This will be a key role in fulfilling the massive growth potential that this business has. The amount of innovation and NPD they are pushing through is staggering. Looking at new categories and engaging with an ever growing consumer base is high on the agenda. You will be heavily involved in recommendations on the betterment of the above and given the opportunity to put those strategies into place. It's a real chance to become a better commercial operator and give you great exposure cross-functionally. 


About You: 

We need bright engaging people at Junior National Account Manager or National Account Executive level to step up and rapidly accelerate your career. You'll have prior experience of dealing with UK wholesale, convenience or grocery multiples. A keen interest in health and fitness would be advantageous! 

This role is perfect for those who have an exposure to customers, and P&L and want more of that. Category experience is less important as support is here for candidates who don't necessarily come from a food background to make the transition. 

Most importantly you'll be becoming a part of the immense success this business is experiencing. They have thrown typical FMCG business culture and commercials to one side and want people who really buy into their culture and ambitions and strive for growth!
