We are working with a global business that are number three in their category and have strong plans to become number one. They have lots of well-known brands and turn over in excess of £2bn. They have strong training and development and within two years you should be at Sales Controller level. Owing to a recent promotion, there is now an opportunity for an ambitious, hungry sales professional to join their grocery team as a Senior National Account Manager.
To develop and deliver key account strategies across a 1 year window with the objectives of distribution, availability, display and impact. Lead the customer process of selling, negotiation and implementation of the internally agreed plan in Tesco. To lead, manage, develop and motivate a direct report (NAE) as well as align internal support functions including Customer Development, Supply Chain and Finance to in order to achieve overall internal and customer commercial objectives within the defined budgets and timelines. Work with customer at Buyer and Senior Buyer Level to achieve commercial success.
You Must Have:
Previous account management experience on a top 4 Grocery Accounts (ideally Tesco) displaying strong commercial, financial and business acumen: interpersonal and negotiation skills across hierarchies; category exposure computer skills, Excel; numeracy; marketing or supply chain experience advantageous. UK FMCG/Snack Food Specific Experience.
