ElevateRTC has been retained exclusively by Big Bear Confectionery to source a National Account Manager to join their expanding team.

With over 100 years of manufacturing our client is one of the UK’s best loved confectionery manufacturers, well known for their four most iconic brands, Fox’s, XXX Mints, Poppets and Just Brazils, with over 900 employees across their 2 UK sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager / Senior National Account Manager to assume responsibility for their major customer accounts.

As a National Account Manager your duties will be to:

• Build and manage strong relationships with existing and new clients
• Agree / Negotiate sales prices and product ranges
• Promote new products
• Maximising sales and profit growth across all managed accounts
• Drive sales whilst managing cost against budget
• Work with the NPD team to ensure all new lines have a maximum impact on launch

To be a successful National Account Manager you will have the following skills and experience:

• Management of national accounts within the travel sector
• Solid experience in sales and negotiation within Food / FMCG environment
• Private Label and Brand experience
• Demonstrate a strong record of managing key customers within a food business
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Confident, Motivated and determined to achieve goals 
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Capable of interpreting and delivering on business objectives
• Experience of developing in-depth knowledge about products and services

In return for meeting the above criteria the successful candidates will be rewarded with a competitive salary of circa £50,000 - £55,000 + Car + Benefits.
