Customer Account Manager – Convenience Channel UK

With our significant growth rate comes significant and rapid expansion. We are looking for a commercially savvy Customer Account Manager with an interest in health, wellness, sports, exercise or nutrition. Specifically, we are seeking a Customer Account Manager to develop & manage the explosion in our business with UK Convenience operators.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience: 

  • Educated to degree level
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience managing convenience retailers in the UK at a head office level
  • Including creating and delivering joint business plans.
  • Ideally from a snacking background – confectionery, savoury snacks, soft drinks
  • With proven customer management & selling skills
  • Driven by delivering targets, with a strong commercial acumen.
  • A self starter with the energy and ability to get on, and get the job done.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills 
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail and focus on customer satisfaction. 
  • A passion for training / exercise and all things sports and or gym related. 
  • Full clean driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build Nutramino’s brand presence within the UK convenience channel
  • Identify new business opportunities for Nutramino in the UK convenience channel.
  • Build and deliver compelling customer specific business cases to list the Nutramino range
  • Build strong customer relationships with a range of customers geographically spread across the UK
  • Create and execute  customer Joint Business Plans 
  • Day to day account management of existing customers 
  • Lead Nutramino’s presence at key trade shows, including the National Convenience Show, Palmer & Harvey Pro Retail etc. in conjunction with Marketing & Trade Marketing
  • Deliver key KPIs for sales, distribution and profit.
