Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9.00 – 5.30

The Area Manager, Brand and Special Projects will support the development of our partnership stores through regular visits, providing advice and merchandising guidelines to the retailers. You will support new store launches with promotional activities and implement shop refits and retail propositions on time, to budget. You will also be responsible for the tracking of sales and help the in the overall development of our brands.
Duties and Responsibilities
The development of our stores through regular site visits and the provision of advice on all aspects of Merchandising activity.
The organising and attending of launches, store openings, promotional activities and other supplier/retailer activities.
The regular updating of our retailers and other key stakeholders with any new ranges and initiatives.
The safe delivery of shop fitting plans on time, to budget.
To help ensure the ‘Hursts’ brand and those of our partners remain fresh and relevant to the market across the network.
To produce merchandising guidelines for all commodities in conjunction with our partners.
To review and distribute shop partner store reports.
To at all times work in a safe manner and ensure the safety of others and the environment.
This is a national role that will require travel and overnight stays throughout the UK. You will also be required to attend meetings at our Offices, in Staines upon Thames on a regular basis.
A retail background, ideally with experience of F.M.C.G.

Qualifications and Skills
A level Maths and English at grade ‘C’ or above, a degree or be qualified via experience.
A full, clean driving licence.
Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
C.A.D skills or be willing to acquire them.
