Purpose of the Role:

To be responsible for the achievement of the area sales target, development of key accounts and the opening of new business within the territory.

  • to maintain relationships with the existing key accounts and grow each account's spend
  • to open new accounts and ensure that they are spending
  • to provide customer quotations, merchandising support at customer level (as required) and manage low value customer returns
  • to promote the company and brand at all times
  • to understand and deliver against the company vision, mission and cultural values

 

Requirements for the Role:

  • the successful applicant should ideally be located in Warwickshire, Oxfordshire or Northamptonshire - with the territory as an approximale 100 mile radius from the central point between these three counties
  • results driven, conscientious and with a desire to win
  • proven successful sales track record
  • proven experience within a similar role, ideally from within the B2B sector
  • full clean driving licence, held for a minimum of 5 years
  • basic IT skills, a working knowledge of Excel, and and understanding of web ordering, smart phones and technology
  • able to work as a team with the internal sales department
