Your new role
They currently have a vacancy for a Space Planner who will take responsibility to report, strategise and produce effective planograms derived from past and present sales, store and product information. You will be working alongside the marketing team to plan layouts, and improving sales profitability whilst working within the framework of the company's strong values and vision. You will be involved with the use of both micro and macro space planning and work both with the wholesale and retails arms of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role you will need to have experience in producing effective CAD and planograms along with specific Space Planning programmes like JDA, Spaceman, Smartspace or Storespace. You will be highly analytical, commercially aware and have expert knowledge of both micro and macro space planning. A proficient level of excel will be necessary including V-look ups, formulas and pivot tables to ensure reports and presentations are delivered to standard. The role could at times cover different departments so a flexible approach to working and being able to communicate effectively and adapt to all levels is essential. This is a challenging and fast paced role so having the drive and enthusiasm will be key factors in your success.
