Export Sales Manager (Nationwide)
Our client is one of the market leaders in the manufacturing of high quality confectionary ingredients supplying decorations, toppings and inclusions to major brands in the UK and European markets. These ingredients are used across bakery, confectionary, ice cream, desert and cereal products.
The role is for an Export Sales Manager working within the European market, alongside this you will be growing the Baltics market for the company. You will build strong relationships with customers in the designated sectors, whilst increasing the export market within these sectors. You will be responsible for developing sales and managing margins against the business plan. Ensuring account profitability through effective management and control of terms, volume, distribution, mix and contribution is essential.
The ideal candidate will be of degree calibre and have several years of experience selling into the bakery, ice-cream, or confectionery sectors within Europe. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. A proven track record of strategic business development, managing budgets and analysing sales figures is preferred. Knowledge of international contract terms, foreign currencies, tariffs and trading regulations would be a distinct advantage. French or German language skills are also advantageous.
On offer is a basic salary of up to £55,000 + 25% commission, company car, laptop, mobile, pension and private healthcare.
