I'm looking for commercially savvy, Senior Food Buyers with real gravitas for a couple of the best food buying roles in the industry.

Are you an experienced Senior Food Buyer with strong people management and leadership skills looking for the next step to really define your career? If so, I'm looking for two Food Buying Managers to work closely with all areas of food buying to ensure a truly collaborative approach whilst managing a team of four to six Food Buyers.

This is a high profile role calling for excellent food buying skills, including pricing, ranging, quality and merchandising with a real understanding of the complexities and opportunities for leverage whilst identifying emerging trends. You will lead a team of experienced food buyer and be accountable for driving business growth and incremental sales that meet the wider company strategy.

To be successful candidates will need broad retail food buying experience within ambient or fresh food categories with strong proven management experience. You will need experience of working in complex businesses with matrix structures, be savvy and have proven results around creativity & innovation. Candidates will need to demonstrate strong experience in negotiating and working with suppliers and vendors.
