We are actively recruiting a National Account Manager to develop the Booker Wholesale & Retail Partners relationship for a reputable Branded Foods business. With instantly recognisable portfolio of brands this is an attractive opportunity to join and be part of a growth orientated business that are recognised as a career employer. This is a great role to get your teeth into and develop the Booker account which surprisingly under-index's; but has had a progressive last year. They have a developing relationship with agreed terms and plan in place for the year ahead to deliver +20% growth so it should provide you the foundation to kick on and unlock further growth. With a relatively underdeveloped account, a huge amount of brands to work with and a strong pipeline of NPD you would have a great opportunity to become a hero!

In the role you would be fully accountable for total Booker (Wholesale & Retail) account; managing multiple stakeholder relationships; driving forward customer vision and plan across the cross functional team; full JBP and full P&L accountability. Building on the progress made in the last year and pushing on open doors, we are now looking for a dynamic NAM to play a pivotal role in achieving growth plans and to strategically develop the account beyond.

Successful candidates will come with a track-record of success within FMCG account management in either Wholesale / RTM or Convenience / Impulse customers in a branded environment for at least 2 trading cycles. Strong negotiation and presentation skills are essential. A genuine flair for building strategic customer relationships and multi-level networking are a must. In summary the role would give you significant exposure and profile within both the customer but also within this leading food company recognised as a career employer and the next step in your career should be the big Grocers or a people leadership role within Wholesale / Convenience.
