Excellent Foodservice Manufacturer sales opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop relationships with both our end users and our distribution channel.
Part of the role will be to maintain and develop relationships with our wholesale partners.
These are both national and regional distributors.
This will involve shadowing their field sales team, Ra Ra days with telesales, on site cook offs and exhibitions.
The second part of the role will be to directly develop relationships with key end user foodservice clients across your region.
These will predominantly be hotel, restaurant, casual dining, pub and contract catering outlets.
Most of your contact will be at chef and contract catering manager level, although you will also liaise with marketing and other departments to develop effective menu ideas and NPD.
You will be responsible for implementing service and price agreements and to ensure that distribution and availability maintains strong across our wholesale distribution partners.
You will also be involved in tendering for new business in addition to retaining and growth of your existing client base.
This is a home based position with travel across your designated territory.

Due to continued growth we are seeking to attract a Key Accounts Manager to cover key regions and develop relationships with key distribution partners.

The successful candidate will be an experienced sales professional from within the foodservice sector.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in sales within the foodservice sector.
• Candidates must have experience of managing foodservice end user accounts.
• Candidates with experience managing accounts within the pub, contract catering, restaurant or hotel sector will be of particular interest.
• Candidates with sales experience for a foodservice manufacturer will be welcomed although candidates may also have strong backgrounds within foodservice wholesale.
• Candidates must have developed relationship building skills and a passion for food.
