Digital Marketing Manager – Cosmetics & Personal Care

My client specialises in the development and distribution of cosmetics and toiletries. With over 50 years’ industry experience, this multimillion pound company has continued to grow. Operating within the premium end of the market, their range of branded products are sold on the high street, independent retail and professional salons. The business is very successful internationally, working across 70 markets. They are always looking to acquire new brands and now have a portfolio that includes colour cosmetics, luxury bathing and tanning products.

Due to expansion, this company is now looking for a new Digital Marketing Manager. By developing their ecommerce strategy you would be tasked to grow their direct to consumer channel. This role would report directly into the Marketing Director and would involve personally managing the Social Media Executive.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Work collaboratively with PR and Social to create integrated campaigns to raise awareness, engagement and drive sales.
  • Strategize and execute on a promotional plan for the websites and ecommerce platforms and social media channels.
  • Establish metrics for success and use campaign performance and analytics to adjust strategy as necessary to achieve your goal.
  • Plan & report on the digital marketing/ecommerce budget.
  • Create, plan and deliver suitable marketing campaigns from brief through to post campaign analysis as well as working with design team and/or agency to deliver excellent marketing material.

The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, with experience of growing an ecommerce channel. A background in the health and beauty sector is not essential, however a passion for the products and market would lend itself to your success. You must be able to demonstrate significant understanding of affiliates, SEO, display and social media advertising in addition to having an attention to detail and a driven personality.
