If you are looking for a smaller business with bags of potential, then look no further! The company we are working with have been around for 8 years or so and in that time have made excellent in roads in the online retail sector. They are specifically involved in fresh product gifting, delivered directly to the recipient. They have their own outlet for this as well as supplying products for other well known gifting websites.
You will be working very closely with the Managing Director and managing one or more of their key customer accounts. Given this is an online platform, the fundamentals will be the same as managing a store based retailer, but this format does allow you to more flexible and creative with your approaches. Forecast planning is an essential part of the role and you will be responsible for managing the communication between the 2 businesses to ensure that this is as accurate as possible.
What you will bring to the role
As a business, they are open minded on the product categories you will have been involved in. However, you will almost certainly have had involvement in retail account management in some form (ideally a fresh/chilled product, but this could be open for discussion). You will be enthusiastic and committed to delivery of the businesses objectives. In addition to this, you will be easy going but not afraid to roll your sleeves and pitch in when the going gets tough!
There is a real opportunity here to learn from an experienced and successful MD, who will take you under his wing and offer you the benefit of his accumulated knowledge!
