Graduate Commercial Manager

We are working with a leading veg and fresh produce grower based in Dartford. They are looking for an enthusiastic and bright graduate to take on as part of their Commercial team.

The Role

Reporting to the Director you would be the point of contact for commercial customers alongside completing administration tasks. You would be able to monitor account performance in response to sales and manage customer complaints. Graphing of customer complaints for Technical department use during management meetings.

You would be able to budget and submit tenders. Support new business ventures via coordinating samples to customers, communicating information to Packhouse and procurement administration.

Promotional planning and forecasting to inform Packhouse and procurement. Alongside marketing development, organising blind tasting's against other retailers, compiling and circulating result reports. You would also be asked to fill in for Administration and Sales Managers when they are away processing sales orders.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will possess a degree or relevant qualification in sales, marketing or relevant other with either some experience or a background in agriculture/fresh produce or food but not essential. They would have good computer literacy skills alongside a helpful and positive set of customer service skills. To thrive in this environment, you must have a great deal of self motivation and a strong and resilient character.
