My client is an award winning food manufacturing business based in the West Midlands. They manufacture a wide range of very high quality food ingredients for food manufacturing customers. The business is unique as they combine creativity, science and passion to create new products and drive innovation in the market place.
The ideal candidate will come from a Technical, NPD, Laboratory or Technical Sales background within food manufacturing. This is a cross functional role for someone looking to progress their career in Technical Sales.
- To focus on the development of revenue growth for the business
- Explore new opportunities, network and secure new business
- Present, tender, and demonstrate commercial abilities
- Work in partnership with customers, demonstrating new products and creating bespoke for their needs.
- Working internally with technical, NPD and lab teams.
- Professionally representing the business at exhibitions and trade shows
- Commercial mind-set, a strong commercial acumen with the desire to be customer facing is essential.
- Technical curiosity of the products and customers.
- Technical, NPD or lab background within food manufacturing would be ideal.
- Flexible approach. Able to manage several projects at any one time.
- Computer literate with demonstrable knowledge of Word, Excel , e-mail, and PowerPoint
