As National Account Manager you will inherit a portfolio of retail accounts that you will be expected to grow and develop. The role will also include some new business development with the company targeting to open accounts with the grocers, department stores and also some discount stores. The role will suit someone with a vast network of retail contacts across the gifting industry who is commercially astute and has a real passion for new business development and a proven track record in developing an existing account base.
The successful candidate will already be at National Account Manager Level with experience of dealing with Giftware buyers at head office. A proven track record in selling in Christmas Gifting/Decorations is a real bonus as is a proven track record of prospecting and cracking new Nationals with written business. The successful person will be tenacious, determined, focussed individual who doesn’t get disheartened by the sometimes lonely role of Account Management and on the road/at home prospecting.
