My client is a progressive food group with an entrepreneurial flair for growing and developing added value food brands and building a profitable business, with a key focus on the leading Grocery Retail Multiple trade channel.

As part of their continued strategic drive for future growth, they now wish to appoint a highly talented and experienced, commercially minded Marketing Controller. This role will initially take full responsibility for a rapidly growing added value brand, which has a strong alignment to current consumer trends, with the potential for significant future growth, both in the UK and International markets.

To qualify for this exciting career developing marketing opportunity, you will have developed your FMCG consumer marketing experience up through the ranks within a well-known food or drink branded company. With a structured yet highly entrepreneurial flair for FMCG consumer marketing, you have gained a breadth of experience covering all elements of the marketing mix and can proudly articulate your brand growth successes and achievements.

Given the high growth and entrepreneurial nature of this business, you will need to have a modern ‘commercial marketing’ approach to your work, together with the drive and energy to take responsibility for shaping and influencing brand strategy at board level, as well as a strong hands-on, sleeves rolled up approach to getting things done.

The rewards include a highly attractive basic salary, substantial bonus potential, car allowance, pension and 25 days holiday. More importantly, there will be an opportunity to step up to Marketing Director level over the next 18-24 months.
