The Company

Our client is a £250m household name chilled foods company and a leading player in its category, supplying both brand and own-label products to the Grocery Multiples, M&S and Retail Convenience Trade Channels. Product quality, innovation, NPD and creative marketing are the cornerstones of this well established business, together with a friendly, supportive and empowering business culture.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Controller, we are now looking for a National Account Manager to manage the company’s evolving and growing business with Marks & Spencer. Your remit will be varied and you’ll be involved in all commercial aspects of growing and developing a mainly own-label product portfolio including terms negotiation, joint business planning, category development, and a strong and continuous NPD/innovation programme.

The Person

Of graduate calibre, the ideal candidate will have previous FMCG sales experience in a recognised food or drink company. Ideally you will have some previous M&S Account Management experience, but equally, candidates with Top 4 Grocery Multiple and own-label experience will be considered. Either way, we would like to hear from you.

More importantly, the job requires a highly-motivated, self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills and a desire to achieve both commercial and personal success.

The job role is based in the South West/Bristol/M5 region with a requirement to attend the company’s head office on a regular basis.
