National Account Controller / Customer Development Controller (Education &Workplace) - Uxbridge

What you become a part of

The Education & Workplace environment is a big and growing market place. The key sub-channels are: business & industry, healthcare, education, defence, vending and sports / events. It’s a market that is operated by contracted caterers (the top four are all multinational operators) or customers who run their services ‘in house’. CCEP has a long and established presence in this market but we are only at the beginning of our growth journey. As such, we would love to hear from people with a marketing / sales background with preferably Out of Home exposure, who are looking to develop their career and take on an exciting commercial role.

Reporting in to the Associate Director in Out of Home you will have P&L responsibility for the business unit which will be delivered through a team of 7 account managers. This position has responsibility to set the strategy for the customers in order to maximize volume & profit growth which is achieved by effectively developing and implementing joint customer plans for each account within the portfolio. The average soft drinks incidence with Food in this channel is typically only 20%, so we’re hugely excited about the headroom to grow our brands

What to expect

  • This is a strategic  area for CCEP given it is a growing market and the headroom is significant
  • Creation of Joint Business Plans to deliver growth for CCEP, the customer and the category
  • Forecasting, budgeting and management of operating expenses.
  • Make revenue growth management decisions based on value chain knowledge and financial insight as well as prioritising investment decisions and resource allocation based on in depth return on investment analysis.
  • Ensure the successful negotiation of trade terms in the customer, based on strategic initiatives of the business unit.
  • The development and engagement of a team of national account managers, and a cross functional team comprising of Category, Shopper, Insights, Finance and Field Sales managers
  • Shaping of the GB Education & Workplace strategy

 What we expect of you

To be successful in this role you will be a controller with preferably out of home experience in either Sales / Category / Marketing / Store Operations with a leading FMCG / retail organisation (external).

You must demonstrate the ability to lead, make an impact and drive results through team development / capability building and recruitment. You will be highly numerate, analytical and demonstrate strong negotiation skills. You will exhibit evidence of collaborative business planning and evidence of managing / influencing complex customer groups at senior levels. You will have a relentless focus on outlet execution and will demonstrate new ideas of ways of delivering this in the E&W market. The successful candidate will have previous trading experience and ideally exposure to OOH channels

Company

We manufacture, sell and distribute the products of The Coca-Cola Company and selected other beverage brands in Belgium, France, Great Britain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.

Other bottlers in the Coca-Cola system look after the rest of the world.  Sound complicated?  Let us explain…

The Coca-Cola Company own the brands, develop new product ideas and produce brand marketing and advertising campaigns.  For example, when you see Coca-Cola adverts on TV or on a billboard - that's what they do.

As a bottler, Coca-Cola Enterprises buys syrup concentrate from The Coca-Cola Company, and combines it with other ingredients to manufacture the products.  We also market, manufacture and distribute beverage brands independent of The Coca-Cola Company in selected territories. Coca-Cola Enterprises works with customers in Western Europe to get all of these products to market for consumers to enjoy.  When you are in one of these countries and see a Coca-Cola truck or a new Coca-Cola promotion in your local supermarket - that's what we do.

Coca-Cola Enterprises has more than 13,000 employees across our business, from supply chain and commercial teams to corporate functions like finance and human resources, contributing towards our goal to always "be the best beverage sales and customer service company".
