Senior Global Brand Director - Lurpak

If so, a rare position is available at Arla Foods for a Senior Global Marketing Director to lead our iconic Lurpak brand.
Lead global strategy development and execution
Reporting to the Vice President - BSM (butter, spreads and margarine) we are looking for a Senior Director to lead the global strategy development and execution for the Lurpak brand in order to achieve commercial growth targets. As a market leader in many of our markets, there is huge potential in new and developing markets to develop Lurpak as a truly leading global butter brand. Already a €600m brand, you will lead this further globalisation by identifying new market opportunities, working cross functionally to ensure successful entry, launch and ongoing performance.
Working in a global matrix organisation, you will directly lead a team of Senior Brand Managers based in Arla's HQ in Aarhus. You will then work closely with Category Directors in our local markets to lead the global Lurpak agenda ensuring the strategy is followed and executed flawlessly.
You will develop winning initiatives across the business to achieve commercial targets around areas such as volume growth, profitability, brand equity and market share. Our Good Growth 2020 corporate strategy has the global growth of the Lurpak brand at the heart of it so this is a unique opportunity to really take a key role in achieving our business objectives.
Inspirational leadership skills
We are looking for a creative and inspirational leader who has the ability to work in a large, global matrix organisation with the drive and passion to achieve our objectives. You will have a proven track record in senior commercial marketing positions, ideally from an FMCG branded business but applications will also be considered from other areas. You will have outstanding communication skills with a huge passion for creativity and developing one of our iconic brands even further.
This role will be primarily based at our global HQ in Aarhus, Denmark. However the global nature of the role will require travel, either to our local markets or key advertising agencies in London. Our preference would be for a candidate to be based in Denmark, however for the right candidate, we will consider a flexible approach of commuting from other areas. Fluent English skills are essential with other language skills advantageous.
