Hello. We're looking for a Senior Key Account Manager (or Senior Commercial Manager as we call them here) to join our Commercial team to look after our ‘Dine in’ channel.

We’ve come a long way from selling smoothies in West London in 1999. Today, innocent’s healthy little drinks are flying off the shelves across Western Europe, we’re achieving meaty double-digit growth, and selling over £250m each year of smoothies, juices and coconut water.

We’re going through an exciting period of growth – broadening both our products portfolio and the geographies we operate within, getting our delicious drinks in the hands of more and more drinkers across Europe.

what you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for the development of the fast moving Dine In team. This is a great opportunity to develop your strategic thinking as you create a clear and compelling channel strategy that links back the overall Out Of Home (OOH) 3 year plan. Our primary focus is Coffee led outlets, contract catering sites and wholesale distribution.

It’s fast growing area of the market. You’ll be key to creating compelling customer business proposals, negotiating high profile contracts, managing the financials and making sure we’re as profitable and we can be. And, you’ll make sure your activity is in line with our marketing and brand plans.

Identifying and developing channel opportunities and customers, and working with the rest of the business to deliver longer term projects. All the while making sure all our customers are happy, and we have great and lasting relationships with them.

Prioritisation will be important as you will be accountable for the delivery of ambitious NR and CC targets delivered off the back of impactful support of our key marketing moments and leading innovation.

leading your team

You will have a team of 4 including 2 direct reports. Developing the team coaching and personal development is high on our priorities and this role gives plenty of opportunity to develop your people skills. You will be a key member of the OOH leadership team and will contribute to and run the key decision making meetings.

You will also lead the Dine In thinking across the commercial team pulling together a cross functional team to ensure we develop a clear understanding of what it takes to win in this channel as well as sharing best practice.

Hopefully you’ll have achieved some impressive stuff. You’ll also need:

  • To be able to set clear direction and motivate your team to deliver results
  • a passion for selling - you’ll be targeted on delivering the maximum value for innocent, so you’ll need to be someone who can develop new business and has a proven track record of success
  • the “commercial smarts” – you’ll have  strong grasp of the financials and have a comprehensive understanding of P&L and investment principles
  • the ability to think analytically and be comfortable with internal forecasting and financial systems
  • influencing skills and the ability to come up with clear, concise recommendations to make things happen both internally and externally
  • a willingness to help and coach team members to support their development and deepen their expertise
  • experience of contributing to Out of Home Strategy
  • a full driving license.

You’ll be based in Fruit Towers, West London however there will be a requirement to travel around the UK for customer meetings. This is an entrepreneurial job with loads of responsibility and the freedom to deliver results, so, if you’ve got the experience and you’re a great influencer with a passion for sales, then this might be just the ticket for you.
