National Account Executive

Set in a beautiful rural setting, Dovecote Park are a multi-million pound turnover company providing premium own label products for a premium retailer.   Our successful and expanding business has now created an opportunity to recruit an ambitious National Account Executive to join our innovative Commercial team.

Role

As a National Account Executive, you will be responsible for controlling a key part of the Waitrose account through effective relationships with our customer.  Reporting into the Commercial Controller, you can expect decisions to be made quickly, as well as a degree of autonomy to drive the business. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building relationship with key customers
  • Liaising with the category team
  • Full profit and loss responsibility
  • Working closely with NPD and production to find profitable solutions to new product development
  • Controlling budgets and costs
  • Stock control

Requirements

This role would suit a Junior Account Executive who is ready to take the next step.

Applicants are required to have excellent interpersonal skills, confident and clear communication skills and be efficient in Microsoft Office.   Experience of own label retail products in the FMCG industry is desirable.  You must also have the ability to influence and establish relationships with a wide range of people both internally and externally.  The business is looking for a loyal individual who wants to be part of the company’s long term plans and growth strategy.

The position is based at our Stapleton Site near Pontefract but will require travel to Waitrose sites in the UK.
