Project Manager – Prince 2 Qualified

A large consumer business based in the West Midlands are looking for a Prince 2 qualified Project Manager to co-ordinate and lead on various Projects whilst recognizing cross-functional inter-dependencies, handling key risks and planning tasks accordingly. Responsibilities

  • Outline activities within the project schedule, to ensure correct quality assurance measures are in place and observed.
  • Develop and implement best practice processes and standards.
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the business in order to implement successful positioning of the change project.
  • Attend meetings when required in otder to ensure all stakeholders are aware of the project’s progress, challenges and issues as well as taking actions to overcome any particular problems.
  • Support, develop and monitor colleagues within the various functions, managing project resource allocation and all associated budgets.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum qualification in Project Management methodology (Prince2 Practitioner, PMI, APM or equivalent);
  • Experience working with LEAN 6 Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience of ITIL management practices are advantageous.
  • Proven skills with people management, project planning, requirements management, change management, supplier management, risk & issue management.
  • Track record in the successful implementation of complex  projects.
  • Excellent organisation skills to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines.
