The Role

We are an established global drinks brand owner of an impressive range of Asian Beer & Cider brands. Our flagship brand Kingfisher Beer is the icon of India with a 55% market share of its home market, supported by a portfolio of brands including Pearl River Beer (South China No1), Bintang (Indonesia’s No1) and Peacock Cider (Asian inspired cider made in partnership with Aspall).

Our business is transforming and growing rapidly as it invests in Kingfisher and looks to grow its expanding range of products. In order to facilitate continued growth in the restaurant sector, we are looking for a Premium Account Manager to drive commercial success, customer relationships, marketing partnerships and strategic development throughout central London, with direct responsibility and management of a range of multi-site restaurant groups, Michelin star dining, casual dining, leading independents and ad-hoc sales opportunities. This role will require an expectation to work 3-4 evenings per week and offers a rare opportunity for professionals currently working in drinks sales to join a business that truly offers breadth, empowerment and personal development.

In order to deliver these outputs the successful candidate must meet the following essential criteria:

  • Background exposure of working with premium drinks and selling premium brands within London On-Trade, with a minimum of 4-6 years’ experience
  • Demonstrable evidence of good gravitas, passion, drive, creativity and commercial organisation skills
  • Strong negotiation, organisation and influencing skills to drive commercial success and ensure optimum profile and return (new listings, customer activation and promotional support)
  • Ability to manage and develop relationships with High-end, premium accounts
  • Track record of developing brands in partnership with customers for mutual gain, with extensive contact book
  • IT literate – confident with Microsoft Office Suite and Bespoke CRM Systems
  • Passionate about food and the restaurant sector

This role provides a fantastic opportunity to become part of a great team environment at KBE, and gain exposure to numerous projects and responsibilities outside the remit of PAM roles in larger FMCG organisations.
