Job Details
My client is a leading FMCG manufacturer based in West London and is currently recruiting for a Category Analyst to join their ranks.
The market being currently very active and constantly innovating in new products your role is key in terms of identifying new opportunities and market trends in order to stay ahead of the competition.
This role is a great way to get into the industry and learn new skills which will help in developing a career in FMCG. This role sits within the the Category and Shopper Marketing team and you will report directly into a Category Development Manager.
You will be responsible for:
- Conducting continuous and ad-hoc analysis on your targeted market
- Providing teams with deep understanding of the drinks market, make recommendations to drive growth & innovation
- Present your results to the wider business
- Providing teams with post campaigns analysis
The perfect candidate:
- Will have at least 1 year experience working for an FMCG business or a market research agency
- Will be a proficient user of Nielsen or/and IRI databases
- You will have good analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Be able to work within a team but also take initiatives and work independently when needed.
