National Account Executive / Junior NAM - Produce

£37,201 to £49,544 Basic ( depending on seniority / experience ), plus bonus plus company car ( or allowance ).

Our client is a highly successful grower and processor of fresh fruit, flowers and vegetables, with an enviable client base in the multiple grocer retailer arena. Based in Lincolnshire, our client has for many years supplied own label produce into the retail channel, however more recently their success has been catapulted by the addition of added value lines, particularly in salads into the food to go category.

The company is now looking for an accomplished own label specialist to take charge of a number grocery and convenience accounts and to take real ownership of the accounts. You will also be charged with supporting the Senior NAM, and in particular in the areas of social media, category management, data analysis and liaising with the retailers themselves to provide support in trade marketing initiatives. You should also have bags of energy and initiative.

To be considered for this exciting role you should live within two hours of Lincoln ( no further south than Northampton please ) as there will be regular travel to the office, as well as much travel to and from customer’s own offices. There may also be occasional travel to Holland to visit the group head office ( no more than twice a year ). It’s essential that you are energetic and proactive, and with a good level of general intelligence as our client is looking for a real “ livewire ”.

A good level of capability will be also required in the following disciplines; social media, data analysis, and insight data. You should also be well versed in spreadsheet work, and helping retailers with trade marketing initiatives.

Remuneration – Our client is prepared to pay for the best, and the  basic salary range is from £37,201 to £49,544 ( depending on seniority / experience ), plus bonus plus company car ( or allowance ). Career prospects are excellent for the right individual.
