National Account Manager – Confectionery

Salary £45,000 - £60,000

Full Executive package plus 25 Days Holiday

Reporting to the Sales Director, The National Account Manager will be working for a branded and private label confectionery business that has been operating for over 20 years. The company currently distributes products via the grocery multiples as well as other high street channels. Following rapid growth, there is now a requirement for a National Account Manager to join a highly performing business.

The main responsibilities of this position include;

• Managing the wholesale, convenience and the discounter channels
• Developing Joint Business Plans with the customer to deliver on all objectives
• Supporting the Sales Director and driving business forward
• Full P&L account responsibility
• Ensuring all customer needs and plans are met in line with the business and the business strategy

To be considered for this position, you shall be expected to have at least 12 Months experience working as a National Account Manager in a branded FMCG environment. Ideally, you will have relationships currently either within convenience or high street discount and be able to ‘hit the ground running’.
