Atomic Live are delighted to announce that through our great partnerships with Carabao Energy Drink we are expanding our team. Our aim is to deliver a first-class field sales team and we are looking for a Data & Insights Manager to support the Sales Operations Lead in delivering first class service, category insight and results.

The Data & Insights Manager offers an exciting & challenging opportunity to make a tangible contribution to field sales strategy through leading data processes.

The inspiring bit

Carabao is an energy drink that was inspired by the fighting spirit of an individual.   Already the fastest growing energy drink brand in Asia, Carabao is expanding its global presence, having launched into the UK market in April 2016.

The functional bit

As the Carabao Data & Insights Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring that we make the best use of our collective knowledge (field sales insights) to drive strategy and achieve sales targets.

You will achieve this by: –

  • Working with Field Sales Lead and ICUK key stakeholders to understand reporting requirements ‘wish list’
  • Implementing a data management policy
  • Establishing a data request service
  • Managing the Field Sales reporting suite to ensure robust data collection; planning and reporting processes
  • Liaising with Trade Marketing & Sales teams to overlay data with key Category insight information 
  • Delivery of pre-defined reports
  • Creation of added value reports & insights that assist the Sales Ops Lead in driving field sales strategy
  • Delivery of competitor, trade and marketplace insights

The skills bit

You need to be equally great at working alone but also able to integrate as part of a wider team of stakeholders.  You must be target driven, work well under pressure, be responsive to deadlines & fully accountable for personal & team objectives. Well educated, you will have recent experience in FMCG sales, ideally within the Energy Drinks market, and proven experience of using data to drive sales insights and strategy.

  • To represent Carabao you must have high energy, personable style with a great attitude and personality
  • You must have strong strategic planning skills 
  •  A key aspect of this role is liaising with Carabao stakeholders and the Sales Ops Lead to deliver the the optimum plan for Field Sales support.  This will require working with the Sales Ops Lead to ensure the reporting data collection & outputs reflect the requirements of the field sales activity calendar
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to identify the best strategy to deliver return on investment
  • Experience of using data & category insights to drive strategy
  • People management skills
  • Working closely with the assigned Sales Administrator
  • Advanced presentation writing & delivery skills 
  • Presentation to Managing Director level audience with Category & Sales Insights informatio
  • Strong data & analytical skills 
  • Understanding of Nielsen or other relevant Category Insights data
  • Ability to use data to drive out strategy for return on investment 
  • Ability to direct the Data & Insights Manager

  • Delivery of field sales data collection, reporting and insights to overall plan and key metrics
  • Management of allocated budget and resources
  • Accurate planning and delivery of reports
  • Provision of key insights to drive strategy
