Paul Nyman Consultancy are currently supporting a nationally recognised food group in the expansion of their Yorkshire based HQ.
The Business
As a division of one of the UK’s largest food producers, this business focuses on the manufacturer and distribution of best-in-class ambient food products to UK retail. Providing a mix of both brand & own-label product solutions to its customers, this business provides an opportunity to work within a fast-paced, highly varied category which is in strong growth.
The Role
This role is an expansion to the current team to take focus on overseeing the site's largest retail account - Tesco. You will sit alongside the Commercial Director with responsibility for the strategic direction of the UK's number 1 grocery retailer. A highly complex account, you will be immersed in a competitive category where you are trusted to lead from the front in terms of category & innovation agenda. Alongside this, you will be responsible for overseeing 1-2 direct reports who will be immediately responsible for managing other high profile retail accounts.
The Individual
You will present experience of managing Top 4 multiple retailers at a Senior level. Your category experience will fall within a food category in order to oversee the different dynamics of NPD, supply chain & category. You will be an excellent delegator, thinking with a 'blue-sky' strategic approach to help shape your team's account base over the coming years and deliver long-term growth.
You will be accessible to the Yorkshire HQ & customer when required.
