Technical Sales Manager / Food Ingredients B2B / North UK / £38,000 - £44,000 + £17K Bonus + Package

My client is a highly successful ingredient business looking to add a Technical Sales Manager to their commercial team for the North of the UK to supply into food manufacturers. The ideal candidate will have a good technical understanding within the food industry, coming from a Food Science degree background or NPD coupled with commercial competency.

The Role:

• Work with customers' development teams on products within the range and look at new opportunities for them to explore within the company's offering
• Attainment of the specialty gross margin budget within designated customers
• Provide timely reports
• Develop strong relationships with externally and internally
• Provide market intelligence

  The Candidate:

• Ideally degree educated in Food Science
• Experience in technical sales is desirable
• Experience selling into food & drink manufacturer
• Effective relationship builder
