National Account Manager – (Fresh and Healthy)
The client
Our client is a global leader in the supply and distribution of fresh and healthy fruit into the grocery and foodservice sectors. They source the highest quality and freshest produce from around the world and supply into leading retailers.
The role
The role is for a National Account Manager to look after one of the companies most prestigious retail accounts. You will have full P&L responsibility for the account. The focus of the role is to build strong, commercially beneficial relationships whilst building brand visibility and product assortment at the point of sale.
This is a demanding and high-profile role within the business looking after the companies most strategic account. This is a multi-faceted role where negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills will play a significant part.
The person
The ideal candidate for the role will have solid FMCG experience and be used to operating as a NAM managing a major account. Experience of fruit and/or fresh produce would be a distinct advantage but not essential. Great communication skills and drive to move accounts forward with a strategic vision. A strong character who can manage prestigious accounts is essential.
The package
On offer is a basic salary of up to £60,000 + 10% commission, car allowance, laptop, mobile, gym membership, pension and healthcare.
