Buyer - Health & Beauty

Our client is an International Retailer and wholesaler who has experienced rapid growth.  In order to continue this growth they require an ambitious buyer to join the Health and Beauty buying team. The buying team is supported by category and trade marketing teams as well as supply and operational teams.

This is an opportunity in a business which is passionate about their company success and the brands and products that help to deliver this. The role will involve delivering the commercial income targets from a range of suppliers including major multinationals. Managing the relationship with suppliers to ensure profit and margin targets are achieved. There will be one or two direct reports

Suitable candidates will most likely come from a retail or wholesale buying environment with previous buying experience. Your experience can be food, non-foods or health and beauty. We want candidates with real long term potential who can develop into senior positions. A record of success in commercial buying and examples of good working relationships with suppliers is essential.

Of Graduate calibre you will possess excellent communication skills and a natural ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Data literacy with the ability to analyse complex data is essential.
