Field Sales Representative/ Account Manager

– Betsi, Wirral, West Cheshire, Chester and Shropshire

For 40 years, the Accu-Chek brand has been dedicated to enable people with diabetes to live life as normal and active as possible as well as to empower healthcare professionals manage their patients’ condition in an optimal way. 

Today, the Accu-Chek portfolio offers people with diabetes and healthcare professionals innovative products and impactful solutions for convenient, efficient and effective diabetes management. It encompasses blood glucose meters, insulin delivery systems, lancing devices, data management systems and education programs – contributing to an improved medical outcome.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Blood Glucose Specialist.  You will play an important role in growing our blood glucose monitoring business in the following Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) & University Health Boards (UHB’s):

  • NHS West Cheshire CCG
  • NHS Wirral CCG
  • NHS Shropshire CCG
  • BETSI Cadwaladr UHB 

Working closely within the primary care sector with key GP leads, Pharmacy Advisors, Key Practice Nurses and Practice Managers and some time spent in specialist care with Diabetes Specialist nurses and Diabetologists, you will identify ways to improve diabetes care in the community - recommending and placing our Accu-Chek range of blood glucose systems in key GP surgeries and hospital sites.

For this position we are looking for:

  • Proven Sales Experience/Account Management experience or New Business Development experience within FMCG (this does not need to be in medical sales)
  • A passion for generating new business 
  • Strong networking skills
  • An innovative approach 
  • A full clean driving licence 
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

This is a field based role which will require travelling on a daily basis. Due to the nature of this role candidates should only apply if they live on the named territories or are able to relocate and have a full clean driving licence.
