Due to continued growth an opportunity has become available to work with one of the UKs fastest growing homewares company specialising in interior furnishings, accessories and fabrics for the home.

Our client is now looking for an experienced Area / Territory sales manager to inherit one of the businesses more successful areas across the Northern Home counties. The company have recently expanded their product range experiencing an excellent response in the market. With the creation and design of their product range taking place with their in-house design team they are seen as trend setters within the industry and have a passion and love for design that runs throughout the business.

Job Summary:

  • Developing and building existing and new business across a varied customer base including specialist interior designer, Gift & Furniture Stores, Garden Centres and larger independent retailers.
  • Act as a true ambassador for the business, having a genuine interest in interior design and home décor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximising opportunities within existing client portfolios whilst developing new customer accounts across the territory.
  • Working closely with senior management to define and embed the culture and values that are key to the business
  • Servicing the needs of existing customers and increase business opportunities through various routes to market

To be considered for this opportunity you will have an excellent career history in achieving and exceeding sales targets. Experience in home decoration and textiles are beneficial but not necessary, however a genuine interest and an enthusiasm in the industry is a must. The ability to build on existing relationships and create new ones with prospect customers is also a necessary skill, along with; excellent sales and negotiation ability, organisational and time management skills, and the initiative and enthusiasm to succeed.
