National Account Manager - Discounters

The business is continuing its growth in 2017 and is now looking to add a talented commercial manager to the dynamic team who are delivering against budget moving in to H2. The company continues to deliver quality products in to all UK channels and produce category changing innovation.

Working in an exciting team, you will devise and negotiate the JBP with buyers and drive the agenda of improving margin and profitability of the account in line with the company’s commercial objectives and goals. The role requires great interpersonal and team working skills as you work together with Marketing Category, Finance and Supply Chain ensuring NPD gaps are identified, lead customer range reviews and delivery of accurate forecasts.

The successful candidate will have the following criteria:-

• Good level of Discounter account management experience within branded food
• A drive for success and a real passion for food
• Evidence of delivering high performance and taking the lead
• Solid commercial acumen with strong negotiation skills
• Candidates will be considered who are currently operating at NAE / JNAM level with good P&L responsibility experience
• Must be comfortable with working in the Yorkshire region on a daily basis
• Degree educated
