Marketing Manager role covering Brand, Product and Category Management where the successful candidate with use market knowledge and analysis to drive marketing activities for this growing business - offices in Kent, Essex & South Wales with Homebase too!

Marketing Manager - Brand and Category



Marketing Manager will work in a new and exciting role helping develop and execute category and marketing strategy for this company's brand - helping drive new initiatives and managing general B2B marketing projects.



Key Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for a portfolio of products with huge growth potential.
  • Lead marketing products for existing and new products & brands.
  • Work on NPD launches
  • Work across trade and consumer - from data analysis, category trends & shopper insight.
  • Annual planning process.
  • Developing ads & promotional activities.
  • Sales presentations.
  • Work closely with the NPD department & commercial team to deliver both own label & branded sales strategies.
  • Communicate marketing objectives to the wider business.



*The role can be based at the Company's offices in Kent or Home based with a requirement for regular visits to our offices at 3 other separate sites*



The Candidate



You will have a strong Marketing background with experience of Brand/Product/Category Marketing Manager or you may be a talented Marketing Executive looking for a step up in their career.



Key Requirements for the role:

  • Proven experience in using Nielson and/or IRI along with other sources of data & insight.
  • Experience of working in a category focussed role with good data analysis skills.
  • Comfortable with conducting range reviews, making recommendations and new product launches.
  • Experience managing all key elements of the marketing mix.




As well as a natural entrepreneur, you will have well-developed planning, project management and multi-tasking skills, combined with a 'can do' attitude and the tenacity to work in a lively but often hectic environment.
