The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for the growth of sales and the development of independent retailers. The TSR will communicate sales, service targets and merchandising objectives to assigned independent retailers as well as support Regional Sales Manager (RSM) at regularly scheduled workshop meetings to improve operational expertise of the independent retailers. 

The TSR is responsible for establishing and maintaining a high level of relations with independent distributors, retail stores management and key customer decision makers.  
Principal Accountability

Responsibilities

  • Make and develop contacts with existing and potential customers.
  • Achieve 15 sales calls a day.
  • Manage and support internal and external relationships by providing information on: rebates, merchandising, special mark-ups, inventory, purchase orders, forecasting, analytics and allocations, etc.
  • Analyze existing and anticipated customer requirements and promote company products and services to fill such requirements. Participate in the preparation of sales plans and campaigns, business plans, and product development plans.
  • Manage company processes with cross-functional teams, such as: Commercial Manager, Demand Planners, Buyers, Trade Marketing, and Allocations department.
  • Conduct sales presentations.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales records.
  • Quote prices and delivery dates. Keep informed of new products and other information of interest to customers.
  • Provide marketing intelligence to sales management and may participate in the development of sales forecasts and strategies.
  • Increase sales and profitability.
  • Perform research on competitive products in the market.
  • Respond to common inquiries or customer concerns.

  • Years of relevant experience within sales environment:  0-3 
  • Self-motivated and effective team member
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask in a team oriented fast paced environment
  • Must have strong technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint as the role will be using ipad
  • Willing to travel extensively.
  • Must have a clean driving record
