Job Details
The Organisation
You will be working with one of the most recognised and established names in global hospitality. The business has a reputation for luxury service, environment and dining.
Over the last 12 months, they have been investing heavily into Procurement teams and systems. You will be working from their site in Central London, leading a small procurement team covering food, beverages and indirect spend.
The Role
You will be tasked with managing and monitoring supplier performance. You will achieve this by building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners and pressing for competitive pricing structures. You should expect to be involved in bid and tender processes, using your experience to guide the work of your supporting team.
The role will require you to collaborate with other sites on group purchasing projects, seeking to ensure the best deals are achieved for utilities and other services.
You will have control over procurement systems and will be expected to lead a continuous improvement approach to inventory management.
The Person
You will have experience of procuring for a multi-site operation in the hospitality or retail space. You must have knowledge of food, beverage and indirect procurement, with a network of supplier contacts.
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate their leadership and management skills and stakeholder management approach.
Candidates with previous exposure to luxury goods will be at an advantage, and those with CIPS qualifications will be preferred.
