NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Circa £50k + bonus + car or allowance + benefits

My client is immediately recognised and respected for their dominant brand and market leading range of high quality consumer lifestyle products. Performing ahead of projections and driving growth through strategic customer partnership and new products creates this new role for an experienced National Account Manager. Applicants should have experience selling premium brands to Retail, Online or National Distribution customers underpinned by product quality and lifestyle choice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build business with key National customers through development of strong, collaborative customer relationships.
  • Create and implement individual business plans with designated customers in line with the overall business strategy.
  • Identify market and customer needs helping them to exploit these opportunities to develop their business.
  • Delivery of Pricing, Distribution, Merchandising, Promotions and Profitability objectives.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrates strong negotiation, decision making and relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High degree of competency in the use of Excel and Power Point. 
  • Must be a highly motivated, team player with a “can-do” attitude and be able to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel both internally and externally.
  • Persuasive with strong and convincing presentation skills.
  • Well organised with the ability to accurately produce relevant documentation including – customer reports, business Forecasts, sales budgets and business plans. 
  • Remains results orientated at all times.
  • Understands the philosophy of managing premium brands.
